Luton machinery demonstration
These photos from the archives show fruit tree growing somewhere in Luton. We've not been able to work out where they were taken. Neither could we find more details about the machinery exhibition- so if you recognise a location or know more, contact us.

The same event from a different perspective. You can now see the 2 mature fruit trees with an open-centred structure. The tree at the back is mighty.

This group of men is looking at the petrol-powered rotovator, that the demonstrator uses while nonchalantely smoking a pipe.
What does this have to do with fruit trees? Look at the top right corner of the picture to see the remarkabl espalier-trained fruit trees that are lining the whole extend of the garden wall.
