• Remove fruit from young trees to ensure the energy goes into creating a strong tree (not fruit)

• Harvest early varieties such as Discovery

• Survey your orchard for health

• Submit leaf samples for DNA testing (if it runs)

Autumn

• Take apple samples to an apple day or try identifying them yourself using fruitID
